Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking an experienced QA Engineer Automated to support ongoing quality assurance initiatives within a fast-paced Agile development environment. The selected candidate will work on designing developing and maintaining both manual and automated test cases for web-based applications. This role also requires collaboration across development and testing teams and includes responsibilities for UAT and on-call support.
Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking an experienced QA Engineer Automated to support ongoing quality assurance initiatives within a fast-paced Agile development environment. The selected candidate will work on designing developing and maintaining both manual and automated test cases for web-based applications. This role also requires collaboration across development and testing teams and includes responsibilities for UAT and on-call support.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using WebdriverIO or similar tools.
- Maintain and execute both manual and automated QA test cases.
- Create execution plans and prioritize test scenarios.
- Develop test case documentation and maintain test logs.
- Utilize Jira for logging and tracking defects.
- Support testing in dev test UAT and production environments.
- Create and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
- Establish and manage automated test schedules and reporting.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities as needed.
- Provide on-call support as required.
Minimum Required Skills/Experience
- 10 years of manual test script execution experience Required.
- 8 years of automated QA testing experience Required.
- 8 years of QA test script creation experience Required.
- 8 years of performance testing experience Required.
- 5 years of automated test case reporting experience Preferred.
- 5 years experience with JavaScript HTML Selenium Preferred.
- 3 years experience working in Agile/Scrum with tools like Jira XRay Preferred.
