Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Boston MA 02110
Duration: 5 Months (Possible Extension)
Work Schedule: Monday Friday; Hybrid (2 3 days onsite after initial period)
Summary :
We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to provide comprehensive support across HR functions including recruitment onboarding offboarding employee relations and general HR operations. Reporting to the Human Resources Division Chief the HRBP will serve as a trusted partner across departments ensuring that all HR processes are efficient compliant and employee-focused.
Responsibilities :
- Support a wide range of Human Resources functions including recruitment onboarding offboarding employee relations and general HR operations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure job descriptions are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate recruitment activities including interview scheduling candidate screening participation in interviews and reviewing applicant credentials.
- Provide guidance to hiring teams during the selection process and manage communication with candidates.
- Prepare and issue offer letters; coordinate background investigations as needed.
- Conduct onboarding for new hires: prepare new hire packets create employee files lead first-day orientation and manageday follow-ups.
- Manage the offboarding process: schedule exit meetings collect equipment complete necessary documentation and coordinate with HR Admin for leave planning.
- Support the HR Division Chief HR Payroll Specialist and other HR Business Partners in various projects and day-to-day tasks.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations and internal policies.
- Uphold confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information and HR matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Willingness and ability to get involved in all aspects of human resources management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Experience with applicant tracking systems such as Taleo
- Up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
- Familiarity with compensation performance management and employee relations
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree required
- 2 3 years of experience in a Human Resources position with a focus on recruitment preferred
