Job Description

Coverage Type: Clinical only

Shift Schedule: 7a-7a; (2-3) 24-hr shifts/month

- Oct weekends

Patient Volume: 15

Annual Deliveries: Ave. of 3900

Admissions Required: Yes

Rounding Included: Yes

Support Staff: 10 RNs 2 NP/PAs 2 Office Staff

Physicians in Practice:

- 2 Laborists at a time per day.

Required Procedures:

- Low & High-risk pregnancy FHR interpretation-NST/CST/FSE OB Ultrasounds-Performance of interpretation Level I/Screening (viability)

- Routine delivery & Complicated delivery

- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Beds in the Dept: 68; 10 bed OB ICU

Trauma Level: III

EMR: Cerner

Required to Supervise APPs: Yes

Other Info: Orientation 1 day.

Temporary Privileges available: Yes

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active IN License or IMLC

BC/BE

BLS
