Job Description
Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Pay: $22$25/hr DOE
Hours: MondayFriday 5:00 AM3:30 PM (Potential Saturdays; hours may vary depending on workload)
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Tulsa OK
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality integrity functionality and other specifications and requirements.
- Develops and implements quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
- Facilitates communication among production divisions and management.
- Assesses test results and approves recommended changes.
- Conducts inspections and quality control checks.
- Must be able to complete all documentation.
- Periodically reports status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and when required regulatory agencies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have NDE/NDT Level I with 850 hours of learning experience and 1660 hours of working experience.
- Experience with dimensional inspection.
- Experience in magnetic particle testing dye penetrant testing and PMI testing.
- Ability to work independently following established procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
Education and Experience:
- 2 years of experience in a quality control role.
- Knowledge of material specifications (ASTM & ASME).
- Knowledge of welding specifications (AWS & ASME).
- CWI preferred.
- Familiarity with all necessary tooling.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to maneuver in a shop or yard assembly environment.
- Extensive walking standing climbing crouching twisting and stooping may be required.
