Job Description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • Mondays to Fridays 10:00 am to 2:00 pm London UK BST/GMT
  • 20 hours per week (aligned with London business hours)

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Advertising Specialist with a passion for music to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for planning executing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across various platforms specifically focused on driving engagement and sales for our artists and products within the music ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape with a proven track record of delivering measurable results in areas such as:
  • Show Ticket Sales: Maximizing attendance for live events from arena tours to intimate club nights.
  • Physical Album Sales: Driving purchases of vinyl CDs and other physical formats.
  • Merchandise Sales: Boosting sales of artist-branded apparel accessories and collectibles.
  • Spotify & Streaming Growth: Increasing artist streams followers and monthly listeners on Spotify and other key DSPs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital advertising strategies aligned with marketing objectives for individual artists album releases tours and merchandise drops.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution across various platforms including but not limited to:
    • Paid Social: Meta (Facebook/Instagram) TikTok X (Twitter) Snapchat.
    • Search Engine Marketing (SEM): Google Ads Bing Ads.
    • Programmatic Display & Video: DV360 The Trade Desk etc. (if applicable).
    • Native Advertising: Outbrain Taboola (if applicable).
    • Affiliate Marketing: (if applicable).
  • Conduct in-depth audience research to identify target demographics interests and behaviors within the music fan base.
  • Develop compelling ad copy visuals and video creative in collaboration with content and creative teams ensuring brand consistency and platform best practices.
  • Implement robust tracking and attribution models to accurately measure campaign performance and ROI.
  • Continuously monitor analyze and optimize campaigns based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
    • Ticket Sales: Conversion rates cost per ticket revenue.
    • Album/Merch Sales: Conversion rates average order value return on ad spend (ROAS).
    • Spotify/Streaming: Cost per stream cost per follower listen-through rates playlist adds.
    • Overall: Click-through rates (CTR) conversion rates (CVR) cost per click (CPC) cost per acquisition (CPA) return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Manage advertising budgets effectively ensuring optimal allocation and expenditure to achieve campaign goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends platform updates and emerging technologies in digital advertising and the music industry.
  • Generate detailed performance reports and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including A&R Marketing PR and Sales to ensure integrated campaign efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for A/B testing and experimentation to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Potentially manage relationships with external agencies or vendors as required.



Requirements

  • 3 years of proven experience in managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns specifically within the music entertainment or e-commerce sectors.
  • Expert-level proficiency in major advertising platforms including Meta Ads Manager Google Ads and TikTok Ads Manager.
  • Demonstrable success in driving measurable results for at least two of the following: show tickets physical albums merchandise or Spotify/streaming growth.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation targeting strategies and bidding models.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics Spotify for Artists insights and platform-specific reporting.
  • Familiarity with pixel implementation conversion tracking and attribution models.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data identify trends and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Deep passion for music and understanding of the music industry landscape is essential.

Desirable (but not essential):
  • Experience with other advertising platforms (e.g. X Snapchat programmatic DSPs).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they integrate with paid campaigns.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g. Canva Photoshop) for basic ad creative adjustments.
  • Degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field.
