- Perform maintenance repairs and inspections to client and internal vehicles in a safe accurate and efficient manner according to standardized and manufacturer guidelines
- Diagnose vehicle concerns provide clear and concise documentation of finding and repairs
- Translating customers repair problems into standard repair terminology while educating customers on maintenance and repair needs
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and proficiency in work carried out throughout the shop as well as the cleanliness and maintenance of shop and shop tools
- Complete and review repair orders with service advisors clearly explaining additional service needs
- Collaborate with service staff and management to ensure timely completion of work
- Deliver high-quality workmanship that meets or exceeds industry standards
- Assist with other related duties as needed
- If exceed performance expectation consistenty this role may need to an apprenticeship in the future
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 1 year of Dealership experience
- Previous Toyota and/or dealership shop experience an asset
- Good knowledge and mechanical aptitude of many automotive operating systems
- Excellent organization skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self sufficient and can work both in a team and independently
- Detailed oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Reynolds & Reynolds or ADP operating system experience an asset
- Valid B.C. drivers license with clean abstract and no restrictions.
- Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Full set of tools and diagnostic equipment (some equipment provided by Westminster Toyota)
Additional Information :
This is a full time position. Schedule will be Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday 8 hours/day.
