Job Description

The CSA Site Supervisor (Night Shift) ensures the safe compliant and efficient execution of CSA activities during nighttime operations on industrial construction projects. This role oversees subcontractor performance manages onsite documentation and safeguards continuity between day and night teams by aligning progress tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Night Operations Management:

  • Supervise all CSA tasks during night shifts including excavation formwork and inspections.
  • Confirm contractor compliance with safety protocols in low-visibility and after-hours conditions.
  • Document nightly progress and communicate handover updates for day-shift alignment.

Quality Assurance & Issue Escalation:

  • Report non-conformances promptly and coordinate corrective actions with QA/QC teams.
  • Witness tests and inspections when applicable; verify contractor adherence to specifications.
  • Record field measurements photos and material usage for inclusion in shift reports.

Coordination & Handover Support:

  • Maintain communication logs to document challenges delays and resolutions.
  • Ensure all trades are aware of approved permits and restricted zones.
  • Prepare handover notes and brief incoming supervisors for seamless continuity.

Qualifications :

  • Technical degree or engineering studies in civil architectural or structural fields.
  • 3 years experience in nighttime supervision on large-scale industrial projects.
  • Strong awareness of safety procedures and ability to manage risks during off-peak hours.
  • Skilled in site coordination communication and report preparation.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; bilingual shift coordination preferred.
  • Flexibility for extended or rotating night shifts depending on project demands.
