Job Description
Were looking for a Staff Full-Stack Engineer to join Procores Product & Technology Team. In this Senior Engineering role you will shape the experience of millions of users worldwide as you build the critical services to support our most utilized features and cherished customers. These Entitlement features enable Procore to configure more custom solutions for each of its customers. Youll play a critical role in designing our entitlement services and features building out those capabilities optimizing api calls and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance security and user experience. Additionally you will serve as a mentor to junior developers and as a technical leader on the team.

This position reports to an Engineering Manager and is located in our Bangalore India office. Were looking for someone to join us immediately.
What youll do:
- Architect develop and maintain entitlement services using Procores technology stack and other backend technologies.
- Design scalable UIs and APIs for entitlement services.
- Provide 24/7 support for production UIs and services to achieve 99.99% uptime
- Optimize entitlement logic for performance and efficiency across our platforms.
- Collaborate with frontend and product teams to integrate entitlement functionalities seamlessly.
- Write clean efficient well-tested and well-documented code following industry standard and Procore best practices.
- Serve as the day-to-day technical leader for the team helping to set the roadmap identifying areas that need improvement and leading cross-team solutions.
- Develop team technical standards and operational processes.
- Serve as a leader and mentor to other engineers within your team as well as other engineers within Procore.
What were looking for:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science a related field or comparable work experience
- 8 years of experience in software engineering test driven development and UI / API designs (Ruby on Rails NodeJS / NestJS React/ Typescript DynamoDB / AWS Services Micro Services)
- 8 years of experience monitoring tuning alerts and responding to production alerts
- Recommends technical investments to improve stability performance and scalability of production services
- Support leadership in assessing short and long term goals to balance immediate and long term needs.
- Builds modern Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems enabling deterministic releases
- Creates an intuitive and scalable operational support strategy for new and more junior developers
- Experience working remotely and with distributed teams
- Fluent in spoken and written English
