Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Part Time Sales Assistant to join our dynamic retail team in Bangor United Kingdom. As a key member of our sales force you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to our stores success.
- Welcome and assist customers with product selection providing a friendly and professional shopping experience
- Offer expert advice on our product range staying up-to-date with the latest offerings and promotions
- Maintain an attractive and organised sales floor by restocking shelves and creating eye-catching product displays
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately at the till
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives
- Actively promote special offers and loyalty programmes to maximise sales opportunities
- Assist with inventory management and stock control procedures
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained at all times
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly approachable manner
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping others
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to work
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic retail environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions
- Keen attention to detail particularly for maintaining product displays and store presentation
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively towards common goals
- Enthusiasm for learning about products and sharing knowledge with customers
