Work as part of a team to coil kit collate pick pack and ship printed material to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following:
Pick hand collate and insert a variety of printed materials or print related items into packages
Final assembly of materials into packaged products (coiling/kitting)
Apply shipping labels stickers and packing lists to boxes.
Verify package contents against pick tickets as part of QC sampling.
May perform duties related to receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished product.
Follows instructions given by supervisors and/or management to complete other tasks or projects ensuring the objectives are accomplished accurately and within the timeframe allotted.
Follow established procedures for completing daily tasks and seek guidance from lead / supervisor when confronted with unfamiliar situations.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Must have reliable transportation
May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
Keeps all work areas safe clean and in good condition.
Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is required.
Compliance with all Company policies is required including all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must have at least two years related experience and/or training
Must have previous experience with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
Must have previous experience using shipping software
Must be able to perform basic mathematical problems
Must be able to read write and follow instructions in the English Language
Must have strong attention to detail able to effectively manage time and work independently with minimal oversight
Physical Demands:
Stands up to 2/3 of the shift daily
Uses hands and fingers to handle and feel over 2/3 of the shift daily
Reaches with hands and arms 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily
Lifts between 25 and 50 pounds 1/3 of the shift daily
Requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a manufacturing environment. Continuous high to moderate levels of noise require hearing protection to be worn at all times. To ensure the employees safety when working in the manufacturing environment safety glasses and any other applicable safety equipment are required. Exposure to chemicals inks and coatings requires the appropriate PPE to be worn when handling.
