Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Total experience 7 years.
- Strong working experience as a DBA (MySQL).
- Expertise in MySQL internals HA clustering and replication Performance tuning and diagnostics Backup/restore mechanisms Monitoring and alerting tools and Security hardening and logging.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix OS SQL/PLSQL scripting Bash Python scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible Jenkins Terraform).
- Experience in Agile teams and workflows.
- Hands on experience in MongoDB PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect and maintain MySQL database infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
- Handle patching upgrades security configurations and monitoring of MySQL environments.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Optimize slow queries and support performance-intensive workloads.
- Work closely with DevOps and Application teams on CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Manage database migrations across multiple environments.
- Maintain compliance with data governance and auditing standards.
Qualifications :
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
