Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and professional AZ Driver to join our Transportation team starting at 6:00am from Monday-Friday. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from our recycling facilities.
What youre responsible for:
- Operating an AZ class roll off truck to transport metal materials to and from designated locations ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Performing manual tarping if necessary
- Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck ensuring that it is in good working condition
- Completing accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You have a valid AZ drivers license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
- You have experience driving 18 speed manual transmission is required
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an AZ Driver
- You have previous experience operating a roll off truck is preferred
- You are customer service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- You have physical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required
- You have some familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials (an asset)
