Position Summary:
The Chicago Schools Dallas campus has launched a Clinical Mental Health Counseling masters degree program and is currently seeking adjunct faculty to teach hybrid courses on our Dallas campus. The program is consistent with CACREP standards and utilizes The Chicago Schools existing CACREP accredited masters CMHC programs in Chicago Washington D.C. and Online as a template for program development. Our first cohort is truly diverse and we hope to create a campus culture that supports this diversity; as such candidates who embrace and reflect diversity are highly desired.
Position Qualifications:
Possess an earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision or a closely related field preferably from a CACREP-accredited doctoral program. ABD may be considered for a strong candidate.
Be licensed or license eligible as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Texas
Be familiar with CACREP standards.
Credentials demonstrate a professional identity as evidenced by association memberships educational background work history etc. is as a professional counselor.
Experience as a clinical mental health counselor.
Experience as a clinical supervisor.Experience teaching masters level counseling students.
Demonstrate support for a diverse array of worldviews and faith traditions.
Demonstrate commitment to The Chicago Schools vision mission values and philosophy of education.
