Job Description
PCT/Patient Care Technician Trainee- Full-time Rotating Day and Night Shift

Work location: Texas Health Harris Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Ave TX 76104
Work environment: Nursing Units ; candidate must be willing to commit to any unit upon time of application. Exact unit to be determined during the selection process.
Training hours during paid apprenticeship: Full Time; Monday Friday Days 36- 40 hours per week between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM
Work hours: 36 hours per week Rotating Day And Night Shifts

Qualifications:
Education:
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req
Licenses and Certifications
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
Complete PCT apprenticeship program. Curriculum to include:
- Basic patient care skills
- Patient rights communication safety observation and reporting
- Assisting patients in maintaining basic comfort and safety
Skills
Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced work environment positive interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills.
