Job Description
Scope of Work:
Leadership & mentorship of the Beverage CD&D Team in EMEA and the creation of winning flavors for the Beverage Category
Responsibilities:
- Leading the Beverage CD&D Team in EMEA
- Managing the team to follow the company strategy to ensure top-line sales growth increase operating profit and protect market shares by monitoring the approach and execution on goals
- Representation of the Beverage CD&D team across the organization
- Technical support of Global Key -and Enterprise Accounts
- Training of Flavorists and enhancing CD&D talents and capabilities
- Supporting with Flavor Creation expertise the CD&D Key Account Portfolio Focus and Agile Teams
- Continue building a strong flavor creation team to compete with the top flavor houses
- Support the Beverage Portfolio Team to identify and fill gaps to build a dynamic and successful portfolio for the different EMEA Beverage categories
- Support global raw material harmonization
- Support the commercial activities with CD&D expertise and participate in customer visits
- Work closely together with CD&D Sales Marketing Regulatory Quality Purchasing and Operations
- Continuous optimization of the creative process work flows and tools Develop jointly with Operation and Commercialization GCP (good creative practices) to optimize flavor and systems production and monitor implementation
- Identifying new beverage business opportunities using new technologies and raw materials and align with R&D to develop innovative beverage solutions
- Create a culture of trust and implement psychological safety
- Build a team where innovation is easy routine and fun
- Master/degree of Science in Chemistry Food Science/Food Technology or camparable eduction
- Senior/Chief Scientist or Flavorist with a minimum of 15 years experience in the Beverage industry
- Strong Leadership skills directing the team to support the business successfully
- Strong background in all areas of application
- Solid project management experience
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial and economic aspects of the business
- Fluent language skills in English and German appreciated. French would be an added benefit
