You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Biostatistician functions as a statistical consultant/project manager by applying statistical programming and related methods such as machine learning and scientific expertise to the design implementation analysis interpretation and reporting of research clinical and administrative studies.
The Biostatistician must possess basic expertise in a wide variety of statistical techniques to meet the demands of study teams and investigators.
The Biostatistician will assist with directing the progress of the biostatistical aspects of research and clinical studies in collaboration with consulting staff or a higher-level Biostatistician.
The Biostatistician will work with senior-level Biostatisticians to summarize and communicate project findings to study team members investigators journal and grant reviewers committees and other individuals and entities as needed.
The Biostatistician may work independently with limited oversight from higher-level Biostatisticians in some situations.

Amasters degree in a related field with at least 12 graduate level semester hours in statistics biostatistics or equivalent is required. Degrees inBiostatistics Statistics Applied Statistics Data Science or Mathematics are preferred.
The Biostatistician will be expected to have knowledge of a diverse set of statistical methodologic areas along with experience conducting those analyses using programming software (SAS R or python) and expertise in at least one of the following: Advanced Survival Analysis Statistical Genetics Clinical Trial Design. A commitment to customer service with an attitude of owning the experience of each customer is required. Other beneficial attributes include organization documentation written and oral communication logical and systematic thinking inquisitiveness and basic knowledge of human physiology and/or medical terminology. Prefer graduate GPA of 3.0 or greater.
