Maths Intervention Assistant Hounslow September 2025 Start
Location: Hounslow West London
Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: 444.00 per week (PAYE)

A top-performing secondary school in Hounslow is looking for a Maths Intervention Assistant to join its well-established Maths department. This Maths Intervention Assistant role involves supporting pupils from diverse backgrounds who need additional academic guidance in Maths.
As a Maths Intervention Assistant you will work with small groups and individual students to boost subject confidence prepare for exams and address learning gaps. If youre considering a career in teaching tutoring or educational psychology this Maths Intervention Assistant post offers invaluable experience and school-based training.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading Maths catch-up sessions for KS3/KS4
- Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support
- Supporting exam preparation and revision strategies
- Helping students build resilience and problem-solving skills
- Collaborating with teachers to monitor progress
Were looking for:
- A 2:1 or higher in Maths Engineering Economics or a related subject
- A clear communicator with strong numeracy skills
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Full-time availability until July 2026
