Are you an experienced Records and Information Management professional with a strong understanding of FOI legislation
A local government organisation in the Perths Inner suburbs is seeking a Freedom of Information / Records Management Officer to join their team on a full-time temporary basis with potential for extension or permanency.
The Role
Contract length: Until 3 October 2025
Start date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am 5:00pm
Pay range: $74478 $82317 super (pro rata)Key Responsibilities:
Manage Freedom of Information (FOI) requests in compliance with the FOI Act 1992
Ensure compliance with the State Records Act 2000
Implement and monitor recordkeeping systems
Coordinate the disposal and archiving of records
Provide advice and training on records and FOI procedures
The Applicant
Experience in a similar Records and Information Management role
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation
Strong attention to detail and high-level confidentiality
Well-developed analytical and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
