Interventional Radiology Technologist 2 Responsibilities:
- Effectively utilizes Inova Health System Inventory Management systems.
- Assists RNs to accurately explain procedures to patients and families to ease anxiety.
- Troubleshoots equipment effectively and places service calls to Biomedical when necessary.
- Anticipates procedure flow and works with other team members to produce the highest quality care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry in Vascular Interventional (VI) Cardiovascular (CV) or Cardiovascular Interventional (CI)
- Licensure - Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Radiologic Technologist is required only if the position is located in a free-standing center not affiliated with an Inova Health System Hospital.
- Experience - One year of work experience as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Education - Vocational/Technical degree in the area of study in Radiologic Technology; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography
