Job Description

Title : Mobile Testing QA - Selenium
Location : LOCAL only (Columbus OH)Contract :: 12 Months
Job responsibilities:
- Executes software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Develop test scenarios based on the business stories/requirements
- Design develop and maintains scalable test automation scripts/frameworks using Expresso (Android) and XCUITest (IOS)
- Test and certify business features using iOS Simulator Android Emulator and physical iOS and Android devices
- Integrates frameworks with CI/CD pipelines. (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions for continuous testing.)
- Writes integrates manages and executes Gherkin scenarios using tools such as Cucumber BDD Maven Appium XCODE and Android Studio specifically for the Chase Mobile application
- Collaborates with product and design team to ensure mobile apps meet ADA accessibility standards and works closely with developers to triage and resolve issues quickly
- Identifies documents and tracks bugs using tools like JIRA providing clear and reproducible steps
- Codes test and implements high quality Java/Selenium programs for automation of highly complex enterprise application system running complex workflow engine and rich GUI working as part of a global Agile team
- Gathers analyzes synthesizes and develops visualizations and reporting from large diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience
- Proficient in coding in programming languages and tools to write test scripts such as: Java Kotlin Swift Kotlin JavaScriptReact Cucumber Cypress
- Experience writing automation scripts using espresso and XCUI.
- Attention to detail and ability to meticulously document test results and defects in tracking tools such as Jira
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers
- Hands-on experience in Analytics testing using Data watch and experience with Accessibility Testing (ADA WCAG 2.1 Checkpoints)
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) such as Jenkins Maven Gradle
- Hands-on practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stability
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as Application Resiliency and Security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.)
