Title : Mainframe Engineer
Location : Jersey City NJ (5 Days Onsite)
Duration : 12 Months Contract
Experience: 8 Years
Mandatory Skills - Cobol DB2 JCL . The candidate needs to be really good in DB2 as it involves a lot of DB work.
Sector: Banking/Financial Services
Required Qualifications:
A strong understanding of mainframe languages and architecture.
8 years of experience in mainframe projects using COBOL JCL DB2.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hands on experience on mainframe projects.
The role includes responsibilities like Design Development testing deployment and deployment support.
Strong knowledge of DB2 database concepts architecture and administration.
Experience with writing tuning and optimizing SQL queries
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices and capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge
