Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a full-time Occupational Therapist - Home Care position. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Chico CA 95926
Start Date: 6/24/2025
Shift: Days Full Time
Salary: $96000.00 to $125000.00
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment upon physician referral to a patient population consisting of varying diagnoses. The Occupational Therapist will assess identify and treat all areas of deficits impacting self-care functional mobility upper extremity function behavior cognition and perception and the ability to function in their lifes role. The Occupational Therapist provides instruction and education to the patient/caregiver to promote the safe execution of the facilitatory techniques taught. The Occupational Therapist supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of the Medical Center and the HomeCare and Hospice Services Department.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- One year experience in acute care extended care rehabilitation mental health or outpatient setting is required
Licenses Certifications and Registration:
- Current Occupational Therapy certification or being eligible for certification by the National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapy (Certification-eligible candidates must complete the next available examination to continue employment.) is required.
- Current CPR certification and current California Drivers License are also required.
- Must be eligible to be insured under the Medical Centers Liability Policy with DMV Report (and minimum age 21).
- Must have Proof of current auto insurance coverage (no business exclusion).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Must demonstrate technical competence professional clinical judgment communication skills and sensitivity to the patient and family.
- Clinical skills and knowledge to successfully achieve desired outcomes in assigned patients.
- Ability to provide treatment to address the practical and realistic needs and goals of the patient.
- Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
