Job Description
- Location: Burlington MA 01805
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hr Day Shift 7a-5:30p
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $3000 - $3200
- Deliver direct nursing care during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
- Circulate monitor and scrub in the Cath Lab and/or EP Lab as needed.
- Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients responses.
- Assist with procedures including diagnostic caths interventions Rotablator IVUS FFR and hemodynamics.
- Manage and operate IABP and Impella devices.
- Support ECMO procedures (preferred but not required).
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to protocols safety and infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and team members regarding patient status and care plans.
- Respond to emergencies and perform interventions aligned with ACLS protocols.
- Ensure equipment readiness and proper handling of supplies.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and staff education.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience:
- Recent Cath Lab RN experience (ideally 3-5 years minimum)
- Proficient in:
- Diagnostic caths
- Interventional procedures
- Rotablator
- IVUS
- FFR
- Hemodynamics
- IABP and Impella experience required
- ECMO experience preferred
- ICU or ED foundational experience preferred
- EP Lab experience preferred
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Active Massachusetts RN License (required)
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (required)
- RCIS (preferred)
