Job Description
Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Night Shift
Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Athena Medtech
Schedule: 3 Days per Week 12-Hour Shifts
Shift Hours: 6:00 PM 6:30 AM Monday through Friday
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years in ICU Nursing
Position Type: Travel RN Contract
Athena Medtech is seeking an experienced and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join our dedicated critical care team. This position is ideal for a skilled traveler RN with a strong clinical background in managing acutely and critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with established care plans.

Implement physician-directed medical interventions and monitor patient responses.

Provide leadership and direction to unit nursing staff during assigned shifts.

Maintain continuity of unit operations in the absence of the Head Nurse.

Accurately document patient status and care in medical records.

Uphold the highest standards of clinical practice and patient safety.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the ICU team.

Active RN license in good standing.

Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience.

Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication organizational and leadership skills.

Experience as a Traveler ICU RN.

Proficiency in critical care documentation systems.
