Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Type: 13-Week Contract (High Likelihood of Extension)
Schedule: Morning Shift 36 40 Hours per Week

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team across several clinic sites in New York. In this role youll provide direct nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians ensuring safe high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences. This is a 13-week contract position with strong potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver safe and effective patient care in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols

Administer prescribed medications and treatments under provider direction

Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical observations

Accurately document care in EMR systems

Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility assistance
-
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient-centered services
-
Educate patients and families regarding medications treatment plans and ongoing care
-
Adhere to infection control protocols and promote a safe care environment

Respond to medical emergencies promptly and professionally

Valid LPN license in New York State (Required)

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (Required)

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (Required)

Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new graduates will be considered)

Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer literacy

Excellent communication organization and clinical assessment skills

Ability to function both independently and as part of a collaborative team
