About the Opportunity:
Tbest is hiring on behalf of one of our trusted clients-a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality custom control panels for industrial applications. They provide end-to-end solutions for control panel design prototyping and production across a variety of industries.
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Builder to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in control panel assembly who thrives in a technical hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and wire a wide range of control panel types including industrial control panels multi-door units junction boxes switch boxes full rack assemblies pneumatic panels and test panels.
Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and layout diagrams to ensure precise and accurate assembly.
Mount and connect components such as circuit breakers relays transformers PLCs terminal blocks and other automation equipment.
Perform functional and quality testing of completed panels to meet electrical and safety standards.
Ensure professional wire routing labeling and organization using tools like terminal block label printers and heat shrink wraps.
Troubleshoot electrical issues during the build process and work collaboratively with engineers and production leads to resolve them.
Adhere to all safety protocols including OSHA guidelines and company-specific safety practices.
Accurately document all work including modifications test outcomes and quality checks.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Panel Builder Electrical Assembler or similar hands-on electrical manufacturing role.
Solid understanding of control panel assembly practices wiring and layout.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with components and systems from major control platform manufacturers such as Allen Bradley Siemens Eaton Schneider Electric ABB and others.
Experience working under UL 508A standards is a plus.
Comfortable using hand and power tools as well as electrical testing equipment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in electrical or industrial technology is preferred.

Pay rate: $21-$25 per hour based on experience
