Job Description
- Assess patients functional abilities and create individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions targeting activities of daily living (ADLs) fine motor skills cognitive function and upper extremity strength.
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists speech-language pathologists nurses and physicians.
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and the use of assistive equipment.
- Accurately document patient progress and interventions in electronic health record systems.
- Participate in discharge planning and setting of patient-centered goals.
- Maintain required licensure certifications and adhere to professional and ethical standards.
- Preferred experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation settings.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to compassionate patient-centered care.
