Job Description

Weekly Pay $42.30/hour - PTA at UC Davis Health Rehab Hospital CA

- Provide direct physical therapy services to adult inpatients under supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
- Implement individualized care plans and therapeutic exercises for patients recovering from neurological orthopedic and traumatic injuries.
- Assist patients with mobility training gait therapy balance and strength-building activities.
- Monitor and document patient progress using Cerner EHR; communicate changes to supervising PTs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team to support patient recovery and independence.
- Maintain a safe clean and motivating therapy environment.
- Work on a per diem flexible schedule (day shift; weekend availability).
- No call or float requirements.
- Treat 4 5 patients daily with an expectation of 6 hours of treatment per day.
- Serve a 52-bed inpatient acute rehab unit primarily treating TBI SCI and orthopedic trauma cases.
- Must have an active California PTA license and at least 2 years experience in acute care or inpatient rehab.
- Preferred: Current BLS certification and proficiency with Cerner EMR.
- Ideal candidate is flexible team-oriented communicates well and is committed to evidence-based practice.
