Job Description
- Provide physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility strength and independence.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for patients recovering from stroke orthopedic injuries neurological disorders and other complex medical conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify plans of care as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including occupational therapy speech-language pathology nursing and case management.
- Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate timely documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Promote a culture of safety compassion and functional progress.
- Primarily scheduled for weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays) with potential to cover Mondays or Fridays based on facility needs.
- Work independently during weekend shifts while demonstrating strong communication and time-management skills.
- Serve a patient population consisting of adults and geriatrics with neurologic orthopedic and complex medical diagnoses.
