Job Description

Weekly Pay $46.67/hour Speech Language Pathologist at Jacksonville Rehab Hospital

- Provide speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing evaluations for adult inpatients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients needs and diagnoses.
- Deliver direct therapy services and adjust interventions as patient progress dictates.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques compensatory strategies and safety measures.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other therapists as part of an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
- Accurately document evaluations treatment sessions progress notes and discharge summaries in compliance with hospital policies.
- Ensure adherence to professional and ethical standards of speech-language pathology practice.
- Work primarily on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) with potential for additional weekday shifts (Mondays and Fridays).
- Serve adults with neurological orthopedic and medically complex conditions in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Maintain required credentials including a Florida SLP license ASHA CCC-SLP and BLS certification.
