Title: Assembler I
Pay Rate or Salary Range: $18/hr.
Employment Type: Contract
Estimated End Date: June 2026
Schedule: 1st Shift - Monday to Friday 6:00 AM 3:30 PM (9/80 schedule with every other Friday off)

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Assembler I to work on-site with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and integrator of precision control components company. This is an entry-level opportunity offering training and support to ensure successful product assembly in a regulated production environment. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Read and follow work instructions (Device Instructions - DI).
- Verify work assignment matches training and qualifications.
- Collect required materials from bins and set up workstations.
- Perform service and repair work; inspect own work to ensure quality.
- Accurately document work via data entry or handwritten forms.
- Learn new work instructions as assigned by a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety protocols.
- Assist teammates and support additional projects as needed.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 3 months of relevant manufacturing assembly or repair experience.
- Ability to read understand and follow technical and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills: add/subtract two-digit numbers multiply/divide by 10s and 100s.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. repeatedly.
- Strong close-range vision depth perception and color vision.
- Basic computer skills (Windows-based systems).
- Able to work in a compliance-oriented and regulated environment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (read/write/speak).
Preferred Qualifications:
- IPC soldering certification (preferred).
- Soldering skills required.
