Job Summary for Oracle DBA - CR278
- Maintain develop and support Oracle databases for State Compensation Insurance Fund (State Fund).
- Provide expert-level Oracle database administration services including project planning systems development systems design and maintenance.
- Offer helpdesk/user support document system requirements and changes and deliver regular status reports and recommendations to IT management.
- Mentor and transfer knowledge to State Fund employees supporting skills enhancement and best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application scope and contribute to overall system design.
- Lead database design and serve as a database design authority for large complex projects.
- Ensure adherence to database best practices coding standards and quality assurance policies.
- Promote and enforce database methodologies and standards through design reviews.
- Design and implement automation frameworks for database changes integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
- Devise and execute database strategies in collaboration with Enterprise DBAs and Solution Architects.
- Ensure compliance of data strategies and architectures with regulatory requirements.
- Support development teams in testing performance tuning and implementation of database applications.
- Train and mentor Front-End Database Developers and Oracle DBAs.
- Lead and administer Oracle databases in non-production environments.
- Leverage expertise with Oracle 19c RMAN ASM Linux EC2 VMware vSphere and Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Utilize complex SQL and PL/SQL programming database schema design data modeling tools and automation frameworks.
- Preferably possess experience with non-relational databases (NoSQL columnar graph) and knowledge of infrastructure (networking storage hardware optimization).
