JOB TITLE: Cable Inspector - 1st Shift
LOCATION: Clearwater FL
PAY RATE: Up to $28/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Shift: Monday Thursday 5:00 AM 3:30 PM EST (OT available on weekends)

Summary:
-
Perform visual and mechanical inspections of in-process and completed cable assemblies using predetermined methods and specifications.
-
Utilize tools such as dial indicators preset micrometers scales and fixtures to ensure compliance with IPC-A-620 standards and customer requirements.

Accepts rejects or reworks defective items based on findings.
-
Inspect soldered and crimped cable assemblies to IPC-A-620 standards.
-
Read and interpret blueprints diagrams parts lists and work instructions.

Communicate effectively with assemblers engineers and management to resolve quality issues.

Support assembly tasks in inspection areas as needed.

Document results and maintain inspection records.

Monitor and verify quality using statistical process control as required.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
Experience with cable assembly inspection and identifying non-conformances to IPC-A-620.

Proficient with inspection tools and techniques.

Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Familiarity with PC applications and documentation systems.
-
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
