JOB TITLE: Sr. Software Engineer - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Littleton CO Onsite 3 days/week (Telework < 50%)
PAY RATE: Up to $85/hour

Summary:
-
Support the Orion Ground Support Tools software team.
-
Apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving to design develop enhance and troubleshoot software supporting mission-critical systems.
-
This role involves systems integration data processing and support of lab activities in a collaborative environment.

Design and implement software solutions for ground support tools
-
Analyze and resolve system anomalies
-
Support telemetry data processing and system integration
-
Assist lab users and managers with data analysis
-
Provide off-hours support as needed to maintain lab operations
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals
-
Contribute to Agile development and DevOps practices
Requirements:
-
Must have the ability to obtain a clearance
-
Bachelors degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience

Extensive experience with Big Data technologies
-
Proficiency in Java full-stack development
-
Strong understanding of relational databases
-
Experience with Apache Hadoop or AWS
-
Knowledge of telemetry systems and data processing
-
Systems integration experience
-
Anomaly investigation and resolution skills
-
Experience in Python
-
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to long-term objectives

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
