Job Description
Summary:
Seeking an experienced QA Lead to oversee all testing efforts for the modernization of the Michigan Disease Surveillance System (MDSS). The QA Lead will define test strategy lead test execution and ensure data integrity integration reliability and system performance across a complex public health-focused platform.
Key Responsibilities:-
Develop and implement QA strategy across Agile sprints

Lead test planning execution and defect triage

Oversee data migration testing (Oracle PostgreSQL/Oracle 5TB)

Validate integrations (HL7 FHIR APIs Kafka Twilio Tableau etc.)

Ensure ADA/WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility compliance

Conduct performance and security testing per State standards

Manage test documentation automation and reporting

8 years QA experience 3 in leadership

Strong in API data migration and automation testing

Public health government or health IT experience preferred

Familiarity with AWS Databricks Elasticsearch Dynatrace a plus

Excellent communication and team leadership skills
