Location: Columbus OH
Schedule-Rotating 12-hour shift
7:00 AM 7:00 PM (2 days on 2 days off 3 days on 3 days off)
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (2 days on 2 days off 3 days on 3 days off)
Some overtime or weekends may be necessary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our production team. This role involves operating hi los forklifts and moving material. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing setting preferably in warehouse distribution and possess strong attention to detail work ethic and teamwork skills.
What Youll Do- Maintains production by removing tubs with product and replacing with empty containers
- Empties all scrap containers and chip hoppers safely at the end of the shift
- Empties outside trash as scheduled
- Maintains standards regarding proper tub storage locations and tidiness Organized and maintained middle room storage areas in accordance with defined storage locations
- Organizes and maintains predefined outdoor storage areas as required
- Maintains required forklift preventative maintenance
- Adherence to 5S principles
- Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information
- Following all directives of supervisor
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Forklift experience and certification preferred or ability to obtain certification
- Overhead Crane Certification preferred
- Strong commitment to safety quality and teamwork
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with high temperatures and heavy materials

- Physical Demand-May be required to lift moderately heavy automotive components up to 15 pounds
