Commercial Cleaner
Reports to: Area Manager Operations Manager
Common tasks include but are not limited to:
Dust vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Clean and disinfect vertical and horizontal surfaces including fixtures in places like restrooms
offices break rooms and/or kitchenettes.
Replenish supplies. i.e. toilet paper/paper towel in restrooms break rooms and kitchens.
Sweep mop vacuum and/or hand scrub floors using brooms mops and vacuum cleaners.
Operate mechanical cleaning equipment Drive and walk-behind scrubbers and vacuum clean-
ers (back-pack upright canister vacuums).
Remove garbage including emptying and relining trash cans and recyclables into disposal ar-
eas.

Good verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented pays attention to details at each customer s location with extra attention to any
special requests.
Friendly and Professional able to deal with customers when they are on-site while cleaning is
being performed.
Team player ability to work within a team where members depend on each other to get work
done.
Self-starter able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do
so.
Desire to learn seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities.
Reasoning ability. Good common sense with ability to solve practical problems.

Work Environment
Physical demands include walking and standing climbing bending kneeling to clean floors by
hand push and pull objects lifting and moving objects (including up to 50 lbs.) repetitive bend-
ing and lifting and repetitive arm movements.
When traveling to multiple buildings in a day s work you will be paid travel time and a gas and
vehicle per diem is available. The gas and vehicle per diem will be assessed on a case by case
basis depending on the amount of travel required.
