Job Title: Land Survey Project Manager
Location: Onsite Marietta GA
Duration: Full-Time Permanent
Salary Range: $75000 $85000 annually
Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Land Survey Project Manager to join our on-site team in Marietta GA. This is a dynamic role offering the opportunity to lead a variety of survey projects manage field crews ensure data accuracy and uphold industry standards. Youll work directly with our Vice President and survey team contributing to the growth and development of the department through project oversight and continuous education initiatives. This position requires a strong physical presence in the office for optimal coordination and collaboration.
Key ResponsibilitiesCompute and review boundary surveys for accuracy compliance and quality.
Review survey plats and as-builts in collaboration with crew chiefs.
Create and compute staking plans to support field operations.
Coordinate with the Vice President to implement ongoing training programs.
Oversee the execution of ALTA topographic boundary and construction surveys.
Manage project timelines resource allocation and client communication.
Ensure the use of modern surveying software and technologies.
In-depth knowledge of land surveying principles practices and legal standards.
Experience managing survey teams and leading end-to-end survey projects.
Proficient in boundary resolution data processing and field coordination.
Strong command of surveying tools software and GPS systems.
Excellent problem-solving decision-making and leadership capabilities.
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelors degree in Surveying Geomatics Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
Alternatively 8 years of progressive experience in land surveying may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Georgia PLS license or LSIT certification required with ability to obtain full PLS licensure.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to sit or remain stationary for extended periods.
Fluent in English (reading writing speaking).
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
