Summary:
Seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week mid-shift contract assignment. This role supports a fast-paced hospital radiology department serving diverse clinical settings including ER OR ICU and outpatient services. Technologists must be flexible team-oriented and capable of working independently during high-volume evening hours. Weekend shifts are required.
Candidates must be ARRT (R) BLS and California CRT certified with at least 1 year of relevant hospital experience. Travel experience is required. Fluoroscopy trauma and surgical imaging skills preferred.
ResponsibilitiesPerform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures (routine trauma portable OR and fluoroscopic)
Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate imaging
Maintain compliance with radiation safety infection prevention and hospital policies
Float between like units to meet staffing needs
Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment including GE Philips O-ARM and PACS
Support fluoroscopy procedures and administer contrast as needed
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospital-based diagnostic radiology
Must be available to work weekends and float between like units
Travel experience required
Must hold current and active California CRT license ARRT (R) and BLS
First-time travelers not accepted
Must provide RTO at submission
Pending licenses not accepted
Block scheduling not guaranteed
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Experience:
1 year of recent diagnostic X-ray tech experience in acute or outpatient hospital settings
Preferred: Teaching hospital and community hospital experience
Preferred: Trauma Level I or II experience
Previous charge experience a plus

Head/Face: Skull facial bones orbits sinuses TMJ
Trauma & Surgical Imaging: Portable studies C-Arm O-ARM trauma shoulder
Fluoroscopy/Contrast Studies: Barium swallow enema arthrography ERCP myelography*
