Job Summary:
This position is for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in PET/CT requiring at least one year of experience or the willingness to be a first-time traveler. The technologist will provide imaging services in an acute care hospital setting and may be required to float between facilities.
Location: Mission Viejo California United States
Responsibilities:
- Perform PET/CT scans according to established protocols.
- Prepare patients for scans and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment.
- Process and analyze scan data.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- May float between Mission Viejo and Mission Laguna Beach locations.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB/CA License.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- CT Advanced Certification.
Special Considerations:
- On-call shifts may be available upon request.
- Floating between Mission Viejo and Mission Laguna Beach facilities is required.
- Block scheduling is at the managers discretion.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- RTO (return to office) must be included in the submission.
- Facility allows for one call-off per two-week pay period.
