Job Description
We are hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (Allied) for one of our clients in Watertown NY.
Job Description:
- OR Certified Surgical Tech
- 60-mile radius rule
- MUST BE CERTIFIED
- Must have travel experience!
- Must have Ortho experience!
- Must have scrubbing experience!
- Must have Davinci experience!
- May be asked to precept new staff Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license eligible Knowledge in the use of cleaning/sterilization/disinfections of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room setting.
- BLS required.
- Qualified candidate will function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in Nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine & delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the hospital and department.
- Candidate will perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel including precise & efficient reaction to all situations & assist with departmental work as assigned.
- Surgical techs have a vital role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room and ensure that surgical equipment is functioning properly & safely as well as assisting surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Must arrive within 1/2 hour of getting called in.
Work hours:
- 8hr Days Weekend call and holidays required
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 13 weeks
