Job Description
We are hiring a Ultrasound Technician (Allied) Ultrasound Technologist (Allied) for one of our clients in Watertown NY.
Job Description:
- ULTRASOUND TECH
- 60 MILE RADIUS RULE
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography required.
- One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
- Specific experience and training in Medical Sonography.
- Vascular and obstetric experience required.
- Possesses knowledge and understanding of general anatomy physiology and medical terminology.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Department specific training. Proficiency with most major Medical Sonography equipment manufacturers hardware and software.
- Ability to comply with on-call specifics.
- Lead - Proficient in the use of a personal computer including word processing.
- Excellent interpersonal organizational and written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to independently take initiative and exercise good judgment in decision-making.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadline pressures and to simultaneously handles multiple projects.
- Professional maturity that daily sets the tone in carrying out the responsibilities of the position.
- High degree of honesty integrity and confidentiality.
- Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to work under stress.
- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)or Registry eligible.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Maintains all registries and licenses required by state and federal law.
