- The end-client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for mechanical system design in healthcare higher education civic and commercial building projects.
- The role requires active involvement in all stages of design and construction coordination with multi-disciplinary teams and a passion for upholding engineering best practices.
- Execute technical design and quality control for assigned projects
- Produce construction documents for new buildings renovations and additions
- Ensure compliance with mechanical and energy codes
- Conduct mechanical system calculations and layouts
- Participate in construction administration site visits and shop drawing reviews
- Research and integrate project-related data
- Assist in writing and maintaining project specifications
- Update and revise drawings based on QA feedback
- Bachelors Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems ductwork and hydronic design
- Experience in healthcare higher education or commercial mechanical systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Trane Trace and Revit
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Valid drivers license and access to an insured personal vehicle
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Excellent communication organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Effective team player with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Eagerness to stay current on industry trends and professional development
