Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SAP R2R Technical Lead to join our dynamic S/4HANA transformation team.
This role will focus on designing developing and optimizing technical solutions that support the Record-to-Report (R2R) workstream including FI CO Fixed Assets and Financial Reporting.
You will lead custom ABAP and Fiori development initiatives that enhance finance operations and accelerate period-end close cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical development for R2R using ABAP Fiori/UI5 OData and CDS Views
Collaborate with Finance and Controlling stakeholders to build high-performance custom applications in S/4HANA
Develop AMDPs (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) to support complex financial reporting and business logic
Build and maintain workflows (classical and flexible) for journal approvals fixed asset processes and payment handling
Design and support Adobe Forms for key financial documents (e.g. customer/vendor statements payment advice dunning letters)
Oversee quality design and governance of RICEF objects interfaces and custom reports within the R2R domain
Support integration testing performance tuning release planning and hypercare during financial close
Ensure all customizations align with clean-core principles and SAP best practices
Required Qualifications:
8 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience with a strong focus on R2R (FI CO Fixed Assets)
Expertise in SAP Fiori/UI5 OData Services CDS Views and ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model)
Strong skills in AMDP development and database performance tuning
Proven experience designing SAP workflows for financial operations
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Forms for financial document output
Familiarity with SAP FI/CO FSCM and external system integrations (e.g. banking tax or reporting tools)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
Must be based in the U.S. and able to work onsite in Charlotte NC (Tues Thurs)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP Group Reporting or Central Finance (cFIN)
Familiarity with Agile delivery models and DevOps best practices
Understanding of SAP clean-core and modular extensibility principles
Prior experience supporting SAP release cycles and period-end closing
