Job Description
Role Overview Cloud Security Engineer: We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Cloud Security Engineer with 2 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing security controls across cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cloud security frameworks a solid understanding of secure configurations and experience in managing secrets and access controls. This role demands a candidate with strong business and global acumen relationship management skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A background in Cybersecurity Computer Science or related fields is preferred along with relevant certifications such as Security CISSP CCSP Azure AZ-500 AWS Security Specialty or GCP Cloud Security Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement cloud security controls across IaaS PaaS SaaS containers and microservices.
Manage secure configurations and secrets using tools like Azure Key Vault and similar solutions.
Apply industry security standards such as NIST CIS Benchmarks CSA SANS Cloud and MCSB.
Perform vulnerability remediation and integrate security measures within CI/CD pipelines.
Manage infrastructure access and enforce role-based access control (RBAC).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors in Cybersecurity Computer Science IT or related field (preferred).
Certifications (preferred): Security CISSP CCSP Azure AZ-500 AWS Security Specialty GCP Cloud Security Engineer.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in cloud security design or implementation.
