Job Title: C Software Developer Cross-Platform Applications
Location: Hybrid (flexible remote) Toronto Canada
Experience: 5 Years
Role Summary
We are hiring for this role where the selected candidate will work on our clients project focused on media and entertainment technologies. Youll help build cross-platform applications and components used in industry-leading creative software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain application features and plugins for media and entertainment workflows
- Build cross-platform solutions for Windows macOS and Linux environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering QA and DevOps
- Write clean maintainable code in C and Python
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment using tools like Jenkins
- Apply secure coding practices and use code scanning tools during development
- Manage dependencies and packages with systems like Artifactory NuGet or Conan
Must-Have Skills
- Strong programming skills in C
- Hands-on experience with Python or a similar scripting language
- Solid understanding of Windows macOS and Linux development environments
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows
- Comfortable communicating in English (verbal and written)
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience using Jenkins or similar CI/CD orchestration tools
- Exposure to artifact/package management systems like Artifactory NuGet or Conan
- Familiarity with secure code scanning tools (e.g. Black Duck Gara Sign)
