Job Description
Position Title:: Oracle Consultant
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: Chicago IL
Location Preference: Local to Chicago preferred (especially for ad hoc in-person meetings with the business)
Remote/Onsite: Mostly remote but occasional in-office presence (e.g. periodically for workshops)
Tech & Functional Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Strong Oracle R12 expertise
- Order-to-Cash experience in Finance domain
- Deep knowledge in AR Billing Invoicing Accounts Receivable
- Understanding of upstream invoice creation (e.g. codes subscriptions)
- Familiarity with Subscription Management and Consolidated Billing
- Functional design skills: translating business requirements into dev team actions
- Accounting knowledge: understanding impacts and limits from finance team
- Not a developer role but must speak to technical and functional needs
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Oracle Fusion (not required but helpful)
- Hybrid techno-functional background is a plus
- Familiarity with Revenue Management HCM SCM (Finance is primary focus)
Other Requirements:
- 3 5 years relevant experience (preferably recent)
- Prior hands-on work in subscription-based billing/invoicing is essential
- Functional understanding is more valuable than technical dev skills
