Job Title: Senior ETL Developer (Informatica or power center )
Location: Austin Texas Onsite (LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position (Within 50-mile radius))
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Mandatory Qualifications - Hands-on experience developing mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica Power Center or IICS.
- Experience acquiring and integrating data from multiple data sources/technologies using Informatica Power Center or IICS for use in Tableau or similar visualization tools. Data source technologies should include Oracle SQL Server Excel Access and Adobe PDF.
- Strong ability in designing and developing complex Oracle and/or Snowflake SQL scripts that are fast and efficient.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills as a system analyst on data analytics performance management or data warehousing projects.
- Proficiency in technical writing and diagramming including use of Visio Erwin and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and MS Project.
- Experience planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
- Ability to write well-designed testable and efficient code following best software development practices.
Preferred Qualifications - Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities prioritize tasks and adapt quickly.
- Experience working on Agile sprint teams.
- Understanding of security principles and how they apply to healthcare data.
- Familiarity with modern tools used in performance metrics data visualization or BI environments.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry.
- Previous work with Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies.
- Familiarity with handling PII (Personally Identifiable Information) or PHI (Protected Health Information).
- Proficiency in scripting using Python.
- Experience using JIRA software.
- Knowledge of Web Services technologies (REST SOAP).
- Experience with Java and JavaScript.
- Knowledge in developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Git Actions.
- Experience with Mulesoft development.
- Familiarity with coding in C#.
Responsibilities: - Implement and configure infrastructure for the Data Integration Hub.
- Contribute to full SDLC using Agile methodology including:
- Validating performance metric requirements.
- Creating Epics User Stories and Tasks.
- Automating data acquisition from diverse sources.
- Developing complex SQL scripts.
- Performing integration load and stress testing.
- Deploying solutions internally and externally.
- Provide operational support and ongoing enhancements to the Data Integration Hub.
- Lead Agile development teams and act as a technical lead when needed.
- Build automated data pipelines using Informatica Power Center/IICS.
- Design and build SQL views and materialized views within a dimensional model.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering Team on optimal data architecture and strategies.
- Verify and validate Informatica jobs SQL scripts and database views.
- Develop automated testing and validation processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups planning reviews and retrospectives.
- Work closely with architects and engineers on implementation strategies.
- Create mockups and collaborate with business users for validation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the development environment.
- Support configuration and implementation of development tools.
- Maintain technical documentation including diagrams specifications and process flows.
- Engage in requirement gathering and system design sessions.
- Adapt to evolving business needs and propose scalable solutions.
- Perform additional duties as required.
