Position Title: Supply Chain Data Analyst
Location: Bellevue WA
Note: Due to clients policy this position is only for W2.

Supply Chain Data Analyst transforms supply chain data into actionable insights that drive decision-making.

They collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational needs ensure data integrity develop analytical reports and support strategic initiatives through interactive reporting platforms like Power BI.

Partner with Supply Chain SMEs and supply chain planners procurement logistics and finance teams on customer side to understand the business context.

Translate business questions (e.g. excess inventory OTIF issues forecast accuracy) into NLQ benchmarking questions for the AI agent.

Conduct stakeholder interviews to clarify KPIs pain points and success criteria.

Document analytical requirements and scope for dashboards or ad hoc analysis

Set up supply chain business data validation rules and checks (e.g. null checks outlier detection duplicate removal).

Design and build scalable user-friendly dashboards in Power BI.

Develop semantic models and DAX measures that support supply chain KPIs (inventory turns fill rate backlog aging etc.).

Optimize Power BI datasets for performance and refresh reliability.

Implement row-level security and user-based filters if reports are shared across roles/geographies

Analyze trends and anomalies in demand supply and inventory data.

Support S&OP capacity planning and allocation processes with timely insights.

Prepare data-driven recommendations and communicate findings in a business-friendly manner

Act as the data steward in supply chain meetings ensuring all parties are aligned on one source of truth.

Support IT and data engineering teams on building pipelines and maintaining data infrastructure.

Train business users on dashboard usage self-service analytics and interpreting key metrics.

Stay up to date with Power BI enhancements supply chain analytics trends and best practices.
Tools: Power BI SQL Excel Python/R (optional) SAP/Oracle/NetSuite Snowflake/BigQuery.
Skills: Data modeling DAX root cause analysis business acumen in supply chain stakeholder communication.
