Job Description
Title :: Solution Architect
Location :: Toronto-Ontario-CA
Type: Contract
Job description ::
- 12 years of experience in payments transformation programs with a focus on SWIFT infrastructure and standards
- Expertise in global and regional payment systems including SWIFT Lynx and Fedwire with handson experience implementing and integrating payment engines or platforms in large banking environments
- Strong technical knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns cloudnative architecture APIfirst design microservices and modern deployment practices eg Docker Kubernetes CICD pipelines
- Proficiency in Java REST APIs and middleware technologies such as Solace and MQ
- Deep understanding of SWIFT standards MTMX ISO 20022 XML messaging and related workflows including sanction and fraud checks
- Experience designing eventdriven and middlewarebased payment solutions as well as orchestrating workflows for realtime processing
- Knowledge of vendor payment platforms eg GPP FTM UPF and experience with global payments processing clearing settlement and financial compliance
- Strong IT background in software development testing deployment networking security and database management systems
- Comfortable working in hybrid AgileWaterfall environments and adapting to evolving business needs
